Hello, I’m Nick — AKA The Urban Rambler. I’m a heritage interpreter, researcher and City of London Guide with over a decade of professional experience, helping people connect with the stories that shape London and the UK.

My work spans walking tours, illustrated talks and public history projects, including exhibition research and community-led heritage programmes. I specialise in queer history and overlooked social stories, combining solid research with clear, engaging storytelling.

I offer public walks as well as private bookings for venues, workplaces, community groups and cultural organisations.

For Museums, Heritage Organisations & Cultural Partners

I work with museums, archives, heritage bodies, local authorities and cultural groups to create bespoke walks, talks and interpretation projects, including exhibition research and public programmes, across the UK and internationally.

Past partners include English Heritage, London Museum, Bishopsgate Institute, London Borough of Wandsworth and Sotheby’s Institute of Art. If you’re looking for a professionally researched, creatively delivered public programme — I’d love to collaborate.
